Mehendi:

Priyanka dazzled in a traditional Indian rainbow gown by Abu Jani Sandeep Khoslaand Nick also took the traditional approach by wearing a kurtaby the same designer. The lovebirds looked happy and relaxed at their Mehendi ceremony, which is a Hindu wedding ritual that takes place one or two days before the wedding.

Taking to Instagram, Priyanka wrote: “One of the most special things our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures and so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi.” She added: “Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”

PeeCee’s and Nick’s HennaDetails:

Priyanka Chopraincorporated many hidden romantic symbols of her relationship to Nick Jonas into her gorgeous wedding wardrobe. We’ve known about the touching embroidery she included in both of her wedding dressesand the sweet tribute to her mom she featured in her bouquet, and now it turns out, there’s another heartwarming detail that she included in her henna design.

The newlywed, 36, incorporated a sweet tribute to new husband Nick Jonas, 26, in the traditional henna designs applied to her hands before her wedding during the Mehendi ceremony. On the top of her right hand she included a guitar, which is a sweet nod to her musician hubby.

Nick’s got “Om” on his palm followed by Priyanka’s name. How sweet!

Sangeet:

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s wedding weekend may have been filled with romance — but it was also a big party.

And the weekend began with one of the biggest of them all. Friday night wastheir sangeet, an over-the-top party that can literally last all night and is held a day or two before an Indian wedding.

With two families of actors and performers going head-to-head, the video, set to “Deep Into the Wild” by Honoraries feat. Volunteer, reveals that each group put forth an impressive effort, complete with choreography, set pieces, and stunning costumes.

And yes, the event also meant the Jonas brothers sang together!

Chopra also danced with her mother, Madhu Chopra, and Joe Jonas‘ fiancée, Sophie Turner, and the groom’s Kingdom costar Jonathan Tucker were right in the center of the action.

Chopra wore a glittering sari byAbu Jani Sandeep Khosla, who also designed the groom’s dark blue sherwani.

“Glamour at its most luminescent!” the designer wrote on Instagram. “@priyankachopra is an absolute stunner in our fully hand embroidered sequins sari in gold and silver. @nickjonas is princely in an open midnight blue sherwani with silk thread detailing.”

Millions of fairy lights and mirror installations lit up the Umaid Bhavan grounds to create an enchanted wonderland,” Khosla continued, describing the evening’s setting. “It was as if the sky and earth danced as one to celebrate this union.

Nick and Priyanka woreRalph Lauren for Western Ceremony:

Chopra and Jonas both turned to fashion industry iconRalph Laurento design their custom wedding looks for the Western ceremony, which was a sentimental decision for the couple, as they attendedthe 2017 Met Gala together as guests of the designer.

For the Western wedding, we had been talking to a bunch of incredible designers, but ultimately when Ralph Lauren approached us, I learned that Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years — one for his daughter, his daughter in law, and his niece,” Chopra explains, adding, “I was blown away.

Working closely with Lauren and her stylist Mimi Cuttrell,Chopra ultimately fell in love with a hand-beaded and hand-embroidered dress featuring floral and scroll motifs, lace-effect tulle appliqués, scalloped sleeves and a high-neck collar for the Western ceremony. The embroidery took a total of 1,826 hours to complete, according to the brand.

Underneath the long-sleeve gown was a strapless column dress made up of 2,380,000 mother of pearl sequins. She completed her look with the breathtaking veil and a pair of custom Jimmy Choo heels.

As for Jonas, he wore a custom Ralph Lauren Purple Label double-breasted black tuxedo and custom patent lace-up dress shoes.

The designer worked with the bride and groom to incorporate very personal and meaningfultouches that spoke to their strong bond.

Sewn into Chopra’s dress was a piece of her now-mother-in-law Denise Jonas’ own lace wedding dress from her 1985 nuptials. The embroidery of her gown also featuring the following eight moving messages: “Nicholas Jerry Jonas” (her husband’s full name), “1st December 2018” (their wedding date, obviously), “Madhu & Ashok” (the names of Chopra’s parents — her father, Ashok Chopra, died of cancer in 2013), “Om Namah Shivay” (a Hindi mantra invoking Lord Shiva), “Family,” “Hope,” “Compassion,” and, of course, “Love.”

Jonas included a nod to his bride by adding a small piece of lace from Chopra’s dress embroidered with the Urdu words “My Jaan” (which translates to “My Life”) inside the lapel of his tuxedo.

Nick and Priyanka Wedding Bands and Jewelry:

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonassparkled from every angle during their wedding festivities. For each nuptial, they were covered in Chopard jewels.

For the Western ceremony, Chopra accessorized her custom hand-beaded and hand-embroidered Ralph Lauren gown and 75-foot tulle veil with over 29 carats of Chopard jewelry.

She chose drop earrings that featured 7.63-carat rose-cut pear-shaped diamond, a 6.42-carat rose-cut pear-shaped diamond, and 2.86-carats of diamonds set in 18k ethical white gold. She wore another pair of earrings in her veil featuring 12.26-carats of diamonds set in 18k ethical white gold.

After the couple’s Hindu ceremony on Sunday, Chopra piled on the Chopard jewels for the after party. She donned a184.50-carat diamondnecklace, a pair of pear-shaped diamond earrings totaling 6.07-carats, a pair of round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 2.12-carats, and round brilliant cut diamonds set in 18k ethical white gold, alongwith a 16-carat oval-shaped diamond on her head.

When it came to their wedding rings, Chopra surprised fans by switching up her go-to jewelry designer. After professing her love of Tiffany & Co. diamonds— Jonas had given her an engagement ring by the company — she changed it up by going with a Chopard wedding band.

The Wedding Bouquet andBoutonniere:

The couple flew their favorite New York-based florist, Jenya Tsybulskyi of Jenya Flowers (NYC), to Jodhpur, just to work on the blooms for the big day. Tsybulski worked “only on the personal flowers” including those for the “bridesmaids, boutonnieres, bouquets for the mothers of the bride and groom and the bridal bouquet for Priyanka,” he tells PEOPLE. All of the decorative flowers were provided by a local vendor.

Chopra’s bouquet for the Western ceremony (visible in the video above) held flowers with special meaning to the actress and her mom, Madhu, including tuberose, “both the bride and the mother of the bride’s favorite flower,” Tsybulski says. The most important stems were sourced in India at Mumbai’s Dadar flower market.

Majolica roses, white nerine, blooming jasmine vine, white peonies, blush pink ranunculus and Salvadora pearl berries, picked from the garden at their royal venue, Umaid Bhawan Palace, completed the bouquet.

She “wanted something elegant, romantic, delicate, and contemporary yet timeless. So I worked with a highly fragrant mix,” the florist reveals.

The arrangement complementedChopra show-stopping gown, ahand-beaded and embroidered creation by Ralph Laurenwith a stunning 75-foot long veil.

Jonas’s boutonniere was made from a few of the same varieties: nerine, tuberose and Salvadora pearl berries.

“When he put sindoor on my forehead, it was something that I dreamed about since I was a little girl,” she says.

After the ceremony, guests were seated for a traditional Indian dinner and reception. It all created a series of memories that still had Chopra’s head spinning hours later.
