Vandana Mohan, Nitin Mathur and the entire WDC team have their mojo working over florid and fanciful destination weddings across the globe.

Concluding a bigwig wedding in Ibiza for #meeragoesmanek; we saw WDC posts pinning Monaco for yet another talk of the town Sikh Wedding in early November.

The first insta out from Vanadana Mohan clicked at the hairpin bend of the famous Grand Prix track in Monaco :

The Wedding Design Co. bespangled the best of the venues for #lambAhlu wedding celebrations that took place over three days emanating festivities in the entire Monaco.

Celebrations began with Welcome Dinner on the first day at Grimaldi Forum – a conference and congress centre located on the seafront of Monaco’s eastern beach quartier, Larvotto, Monte Carlo.

The venue was transformed to a “Broadway” like set-up contrived from a black and white colour story with hints of yellow and red ceasing into a contemporary features truly making it class-a-part!

There’s a stirring catch in the inverted goblet chandeliers, model hanging, side table decor and faces on wing chairs.

Next day was all prepped up for the evening ceremonies – Procession and Reception of Baraat.

The groom’s procession of Baraat was like a carnival at iconic Casino Square also known for the glamorous Bond locations having featured in James Bond movies. The square is always humming with engine sound of luxury cars which was quite bizarre for this day and was temporarily shut down specially for the procession to pass.

This was the most captivating moment for the tourists watching the procession with roll of drummers, bollywood dancers, DJ aboard a moving 4×4 and hundreds of guests dancing in high spirits.

The procession occurred for approx 2 hours that reached the final destination for the Reception of Baraat at Sporting Club – fabulous venue that welcomes the world’s biggest celebrities for exceptional events.

Summer long concerts under the stars, pulsates with the sounds of international recording artists and star-studded shows of Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, George Benson with Natalie Cole, Lionel Richie and many others at this venue.

Sporting Club looked glitzy in bold palette of red & black highlighted in shimmers of gold and silver. The extravagance was observed as the perfect embodiment of all the magic and fantasy in the Principality of Monaco.

The main day and the most important ceremony of the Sikh Wedding called Anand Karaj was held at Opéra de Monte-Carlo. The “atrium,” paved in marble, is surrounded by 28 Ionic columns in onyx. It leads into the auditorium of the opera, called the “Salle Garnier,” which is decorated in red and gold, with a profusion of bas-reliefs, frescoes and sculptures.

Anand Karaj is the name given to the Sikh wedding ceremony, literally translated as “Blissful Event”. Sikhs regard marriage as a sacred bond of mutual dependence between a man and a woman; a true partnership of equals in marriage is made between those who are united in spirit as well as in mind and body.

Salshan Photo and Cinema are leading destination wedding filmers who claim to be amazed with the settings and finds it a JAW DROPPING scene for this auspicious ceremony.

Following celebration on the same day was the Reception held at Ballroom of The Fairmont Monte Carlo – a lavish retreat that puts the entire destination at your doorstep and allows you to immerse yourself in the region’s joie de vivre. The Fairmont Monte Carlo has been awarded as “Luxury Coastal Hotel” in Europe by the World Luxury Travel Awards this year.

WDC chose to keep Pristine White decor making it a classy and an elegant affair. The arrangement was comfortable and cluster with head table seating, round table seatings on the sides and lounge couches in the centre. The round tables were decked with tall crystal centre pieces with blooms and crystal candle holders while the head tables with short bloom vases and tall crystal candelabra.
